Settings and updates

Open Settings from the bottom of the sidebar or with Cmd+,. Settings has two groups.

• App settings belong to this computer's app: General, Appearance, Sidebar, Chat, Terminal, Browser, Shortcuts, Integrations, Notifications, Permissions, Diagnostics, and About.
• Host settings belong to the host picked at the top: Overview, Projects, Connections, Pair a device, Agents, Workspaces, Providers, Usage, Terminals, and Plugins.

Zekoder workflow settings live on the Zekoder page in the sidebar and in each workspace's Zekoder settings tab. See Project settings.

Providers

Settings → Providers lists the coding agents the host found, with their status. Select Add provider to add an agent that is not built in.

Release channels

Each host has a release channel, Stable or Beta. Set it in Settings → About under Connected hosts, or on the Version tab of the Zekoder page; both stay in sync. The channel applies to the app, the Zekoder plugin, and the Zekoder skills on that host. The desktop app follows the channel of your local host.

• Stable gets tested releases. Stable users never receive betas.
• Beta gets new versions sooner, and also gets every newer stable release.

Switching from Beta back to Stable never downgrades what you have.

App updates

The app checks for updates every 30 minutes and downloads them in the background. When an update is ready:

1. An Update available notice appears.
2. Select Install & restart. Installing stops running agents and closes terminal sessions.

To check right away, open Settings → About → App updates and select Check. Stable releases reach users gradually over 36 hours; Check skips the wait.

On macOS, a build that is not code-signed cannot install updates. The app tells you when a new version is available; download it and install it over the old one.

Plugin and skills updates

The Zekoder plugin and the Zekoder skills update separately from the app. When the plugin has a new version ready, a notice offers Restart daemon. Restarting the daemon stops running agents. See Versions and updates for the skills.
